We serve a selection of sprouted legumes, germinating grains, nuts, and seeds. In this form, you can digest them more easily. This has the added benefit of increased nutrient uptake and alkaline forming in your body.



We were also the first restaurant in the UK to serve wheat-free raw, and steamed, cakes, as well as wheat-free bread and pasta (which is much easier to digest). This also helps you to avoid developing allergies from excessive wheat and gluten consumption. 



Natural wholefoods and fresh, premium, ingredients are the foundation of our recipes, and we strive to ensure all of them are organic (unless certification is unavailable). The benefits of organic are substantial: with more nutrients, including antioxidants, and no harmful pesticides, organic supports the health of our planet and everyone on it.



Vantra was the first restaurant in the UK to serve gourmet living food. To create you meals in as nutritious a state as possible our Living Food dishes come either completely raw or not heated above 48ºc. This preserves the maximum amount of enzymes, vitamins and alkalines within our deliciously natural ingredients. 



Our understanding of the dangers of sugary diets inspired us to offer healthy alternatives in our desserts, drinks, and savoury dishes - meaning you can indulge with a clear conscience! Our coconut and yacón nectar syrups have a low GI and are suitable for those with diabetes or candida. 



The vegan diet is already free from cholesterol, but to take your health one step further we also avoid all carcinogenic, mycotoxic, and highly acidic ingredients. This list of offenders includes not just meat, but also plant-based produce such as corn products, peanuts, and cashew nuts.  



We are pioneers of water-based cooking methods, where food is not heated above 100ºc. In this way, food is cooked incredibly gently, ensuring maximum nutrient bioavailibility and better assimilation. This also avoids harmful carcinogens that result from frying, baking, roasting, grilling or browning.  



By applying the principles of food combining when crafting our meals, we ensure you can easily select foods that digest well together.


As well as cutting edge nutrition principles, we heed the ancient wisdom of the Ayurved in the preparing of our food and drinks. This helps to balance your mind as well as your body.
