A Healthier Ecosystem
Beyond avoiding animal agriculture, there are many small things we do that add up to have a significantly positive impact on our ecosystem:
KEEP IT NATURAL
Choosing organic and natural foods avoids the use of harmful pesticides and other artificial chemical products.
WASTE NOT, WANT NOT
By ensuring all of our disposables are biodegradable or recyclable, and by recycling (excessively!), we've nearly eliminated our contribution to landfill.
All our food leftovers are sent to be composted, creating fertiliser for more delicious, organic, produce!
Most of our beautiful, natural, furniture and fittings are made from up-cycled materials . For example, our tables and chairs are crafted from reclaimed wood, and our seat cushions from coffee bean sacks.
Our raw food and aqueous cooking food preparation methods consume less energy than conventional methods, and our electricity comes from renewable sources. Minimising our food miles also further reduces out greenhouse gas food-print.
AGAIN AND AGAIN...
Our buffet plates and water cups are made from stainless steel, a durable and rustproof surface that can renew itself! The durability of stainless steel means that our plates and cups live an incredibly long life, meaning no wastefulness, and do not harbour nasty bacteria or germs!
As well as being better for your health, our aqueous cooking methods leave no burnt-on mess to deal with afterwards. This eliminates the need for harsh, toxic, chemical cleaning products.
